Kathryn "Kate" Rastetter, age 90, of Alliance, passed away at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Copeland Oaks.
She was born September 29, 1922, in Alliance, Ohio, to Frank W. and Mary Beth (Sebring) Andrews.
Kathryn was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and the Trinity Church Women. She was also a member of the Welkins Club of Alliance, a literacy class volunteer instructor at Rodman Library and a Red Cross Volunteer.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan (James) Rafferty of Columbiana; two sons, Robert A. (Chun Chin) Rastetter of Cleveland and William F. (Lillian) Rastetter of Africa; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert A. Rastetter whom she married December 28, 1946 and who died in April 1988; brother, Frank W. "Bill" Andrews, Jr.; and two sisters, Susan Weaver and Sara Andrews. Per Kathryn's request, there will be no visitation or service.
