Keith Allen Bourne, age 71, of Paris, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Rose Lane in Massillon.
He was born February 2, 1950 in Alliance, Ohio to Donald and Helen (Zimmerman) Bourne.
Keith graduated from Alliance High School and was a Mail Carrier for more than twenty years.
A decorated U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran; he received numerous awards, including a Purple Heart.
Keith enjoyed NASCAR, naming his stock car ’02, for his two children, he loved riding four wheelers, horses, watching westerns, and drag races. Keith was a Certified Cabinet Maker, and especially had an affinity for rebuilding old engines and painting cars.
Survivors include his daughter, Nicole (Zack) Meade; his son, Ronald (Kyoko) Bourne; his grandson, Hue Bourne; his significant other, Norma Martin and her sons, Brian (Katie) Martin, and Dan Martin; Brian’s son, Brandon Martin; his siblings, Michael (Debbie) Bourne, and Diana “DeDe” (Gary) Tschantz; mother of his children, Diane Kay Johnson; and many others who considered Keith as family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A time for sharing memories will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 23rd. Family and friends may visit the hour prior.
Keith will be laid to rest with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
