Keith Simpkins, Sr

Keith Edward Simpkins, Sr. age 73, of Alliance passed away at 8:10 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2013, at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born May 11, 1940, in Barberton, Ohio.
Keith was employed as an estimator with ACME Surface Dynamics for 40 years.
He was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ and served as an Elder and on several church committees. He was also active with Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity.
Keith was a United States Army Veteran having served his country from August 1957 until December of 1960.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Betty Jean (Carter) Simpkins, whom he married April 13, 1965; children, Keith Jr., Michael Brian and Marlowe B.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Bethel United Church of Christ.
