Kenneth Russell

Kenneth Russell, age 86, passed away on July 19, 2023.

He was born on May 3, 1937, in Nathley, Virginia, to Bernard and Myrtle (Layne) Russell.

Kenneth worked at American Steel Foundries for 26 years and as a massotherapist for 20 years. He also worked at Lowes for five years and was an assistant football coach for Sebring Local Schools.

Kenneth enjoyed birdwatching and loved to read.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sue Russell, whom he married on July 24, 1975; his sons, Ryan and David Russell; step-sons, Glen, Scott and Chad McClung; five grandchildren, Tiffany McClung, Cody McClung, Katie McClung, Emily McClung, and Lizzie McClung; and two great-grandchildren, Ashton Miller and Naomi McClung.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bernard Jr.; and a sister, Ruby.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 26th at 1:30 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
