Kenneth Richard Solvey, age 63, of Louisville, passed away at 11:58 a.m., September 15, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.
He was born January 7, 1950, in Canton, Ohio, to John and Nina (Nordick) Solvey.
Kenneth was employed by Republic Steel Company until his retirement. He was a member of the Eagles.
Survivors include his parents; three daughters, Tina Johnson, Nina (Bryant) Settle and Sarina (Chad) Payne; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda, John, Barbara, Diane, Marsha, Candy and Haas; and his companion, Donna.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
