Kody D. Thayer

Kody D. Thayer, age 15, of Alliance, died Thursday, January 5, 2012.
He was born July 10, 1996 in Alliance to Michelle Thayer.
Kody was a student at Marlington High School. He enjoyed fishing, skateboarding, playing video games, being in the woods, and spending time with his friends.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Jaden Thayer of Alliance; grandfather, Verle Thayer; two uncles, Greg Thayer, Doug (Rebecca) Ray and cousin, Adam Thayer, all of Alliance; and guardians, Albert and Carolyn Derry of Atwater.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandy Thayer.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Gates of Maranatha Ministries. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Firefighter's Local 480 Annual Toy Drive, 63 E. Broadway St., Alliance, Oh. 44601.
