Kristen M. (Fox) Owens

Kristen M. (Fox) Owens, age 33, of Alliance, passed away at 9:10 a.m. on October 19, 2017 at Akron City Hospital.
Kristen was the daughter of Billy Phillips and Tina Fox, and graduated from Alliance High School.
A Registered Nurse, Kristen served on the Nursing Faculty at Hannah E. Mullins School of Nursing.
Kristen will be forever loved and missed by her family, including her husband, Aaron Owens, whom she married August 2, 2008, children, Emily and Matthew; mom, Tina Fox; dad, Billy (Marsha) Phillips; four ½ brothers, Andy, John, Gabe and Jacob; one ½ sister, Erin; three brothers-in-law, Brian (Kelly), Chris and Zach; grandmothers, Marjorie Kuhn, and Dorothy Barker; special aunt, Judy Randles; and many others who loved her, including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Kristen was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dearl Barker, and step-grandfather, Samuel Kuhn.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Dennis Simmons of Pine Lake Christian Church officiating.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
Kristen will be laid to rest at Alliance City Cemetery.
