Lana Perkins

Lana R. Perkins, age 81, passed away on December 18, 2022.

She was born on March 21, 1941, in Alliance to Roy W. and AnnaBelle (Humphries) Hardman.

Lana earned her Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and her Master’s from Central State University in Oklahoma. She then taught elementary school in Oklahoma before returning to Ohio to work as a librarian at GlenOak.

Lana enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, singing and sewing.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Victoria (Steve) Brodzenski; her sister, Vallene Hardman; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Perkins, whom she married on June 15, 1963 and who passed May 26, 2011; her son, Ricky Perkins; and five siblings.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held in the spring.
