Larry E Lawson

Larry E. Lawson, age 62, of Alliance, passed away on March 27, 2022.

He was born April 7, 1959 in East Canton to Eugene and Johnnie Ruth (Randle) Lawson

A graduate of East Canton High School, Larry worked at Gregory Industrial, and formerly worked at American Steel/Alliance Castings.

He was a member of 2nd Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and member of the Male Chorus.

Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his church family. He especially loved his beloved, Opie R. Lawson. He was a diehard Cincinnati Bengal’s fan and loved to watch Matlock.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Johnnie Ruth Lawson; his wife, Gianna M. (Riddle) Lawson, whom he married June 19, 1999; his brother, Lavelle Lawson, his sisters, Stachia Lawson; and Chenesa (Benson) Lowe; brothers-in-law, Michael Wade, and Curtis L. Riddle Jr.; sisters-in-law, Deborah (Willie) Bell, Carmen Riddle; Diane (Baye) Olutosin; his Grandon family; godson, Cainin Jones; nieces and nephews, Teven (Justice) Lawson, Trell Lawson, and Carmella Hawkins; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Larry’s family would like to give a special thank you to Ke'ndalin Turner and Jeff Brooks.

Services will be held at Noon, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2nd Baptist Church with Pastor Willie Bell officiating.

Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
