Larry R. Kelly

Larry R. Kelly, age 67 of Alliance, died at home at 7:45 a.m. March 19, 2006. He was born July 14, 1938 in Alliance, Ohio, and was the son of Kenneth and Sarah (Beery) Kelly and was a lifelong resident. Larry graduated from Alliance High School in 1956 and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Kelly retired from Canton Drop Forge as a Dye Polisher. Survivors include his wife Linda (Ferguson) Kelly of Alliance, whom he married March 13, 1969; two daughters, Karen (Robert) Floor and Kim (Lloyd) Briggs both of Salem, Ohio; one son, Kurt "Ed" (Donna) Kelly of Stow, Ohio; one Granddaughter, Caitlyn Kelly; three brothers, Dallas (Glenda) Kelly of Alabama, Kenneth (Myral) Kelly of Alliance, Ohio, and Michael Kelly of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Kari Lankford officiating. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
