Larry A. Walter, age 60, of Alliance, passed away at 8:31 a.m. Sunday, April 4, 2010 at his home.
He was born September 23, 1949 in Alliance, Ohio to Gilbert and Rose (Watson) Walter.
Larry attended Marlington High School and was formerly employed by Transue and Williams Stamping Plant and the former Stone Bridge Tire Company in Alliance.
He enjoyed garage sales, flea markets, and his dog "Saddie."
Larry is survived by his father, Gilbert D. Walter of Alliance; two brothers, Gary (Bonnie) Walter of Canton and William (Kathy) Walter of Wind Lake, Wisconsin; two sisters, Rose Burris of Alliance and Sarah Hatton of Boardman; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Gilbert Walter and sister, Helen Walter.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 at Highland Memorial Park with Mr. Jonathan Walter officiating.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
