Laverna M. Scott, age 48 of Alliance, died at 5:40 p.m. February 28, 2005 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born August 29, 1956 in Salem, Ohio to Frank William and Rosa Lee (Johnson) Scott.
Laverna was a lifelong resident and did assembly work at Cohen-Joliet Industries in Canton.
She is survived by her father, Frank William Scott Sr. of Alliance, one sister, Phyllis Runion, three brothers, Frank Scott Jr., Tim Scott and Barry Scott, all of Alliance, two aunts, Dorothy Kelly and Donna Marshall, both of Alliance, and friends Myrna Tyson of Salem, and Mary French of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Private family visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, followed by a private family service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with Pastor David Ashbrook of Maximo Zion Church officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
