Lawrence H. Rupp Jr

Lawrence H. Rupp Jr, age 76, of Alliance, passed away at 9:22 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born January 4, 1942, in Maximo, Ohio, to the late Lawrence H. Sr. and Lucille Elizabeth (Pulus) Rupp.
Lawrence attended Marlington High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He had been employed with a brick yard, car lots and a landscaping/mowing service.
Lawrence enjoyed boating, birdwatching and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Mae (Blake) Rupp, whom he married April 3, 1965; daughter, Theresa Marie Rupp Douds; sons, Lawrence Rupp III and Eugene (Stephanie) Rupp; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Viola Warner, Rita Hornsby and Bob Rupp; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Lawrence is preceded in death by his siblings, Eugene, Chuck, Leonard, Irene, Bernice, Loretta, Frank, Kenny and Mary.
A caring cremation is being performed and arrangements have been entrusted to Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral and Cremation service 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, OH 44601.
