Lee A Brown

Lee A. Brown, age 59, of Alliance, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016, at his home.
He was born November 5, 1956, in Alliance, Ohio, to Kenneth and Doris (Rufibach) Brown and was a lifelong area resident.
A 1975 graduate of Alliance High School and 1979 Mount Union College graduate, Lee was employed at First Merit Bank as a credit buyer. He was formerly an assistant soccer coach at Alliance High School.
Lee was a member of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church and Alliance Lion's Club.
Survivors include his parents of Alliance; wife, Betsy (Welch) Brown whom he married June 28, 1980; two sons, Ryan (Missy) Brown of Columbus and Dustin (Jen) Brown of Jackson Township; one granddaughter, Clara Brown; and two brothers, Keith (Margaret) Brown and David (Anjie) Brown, both of Alliance.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Cassaday Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Coralee Cox officiating. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Union Avenue United Methodist Church 1843 S. Union Ave. Alliance, OH 44601.
