Lelia Queen Burr, age 100, of Canton, died at 2:35 p.m.Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Laurels of Massillon.
She was born March 20, 1908 in Buckhannon, WV to Moletus B. and Maude (Radabaugh) Foster.
Lelia is survived by her great nephew, Craig Wilson and great niece, Katheryn Wilson both of Buckhannon, WV; granddaughter, Janice Lynn Mohlmaster; a great granddaughter, Kathy Lynn Reeder; three step children, Mary Ann Ward of Southington, OH, Loretta Ryan of Las Vegas, NV; Howard Burr of Sebring; and friend, James Mincks, of Canton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Paul B. Queen Sr. who died in 1949 and Russell Burr who died in 2001; sister, Shirley Heidger of Portland OR, and brother, Moletus Foster Jr.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. John L. Ferris of Christ United Methodist Church. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
