Lena M. Kelly

Lena M. Kelly, age 89, of Alliance, passed away at 4:43 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Aultman Hospital.
She was born August 29, 1928, in New Philadelphia, Ohio to Charles and Mary (Miller) Percy.
Lena retired from Lingh & Fink in 1994 and had been formerly employed by D CON.
She had been a 50 year plus member of Alliance Baptist Temple, in charge of the nursery and a member of the Jolly 60's Choir. She had also been a member of AARP, and Alliance Senior Citizens Center and its choir.
Survivors include her seven daughters, Lena (Don) Thompson of California, Karen (James) Ciecerko and Joyce (George) Riggins, both of Alliance, Lula (Calvin) Marshall of North Benton, Brenda Kelly of the home, Lucille (Bob) Collins of Alvin, Texas and Addie (Bill) Winstead of Bakersfield, California; two sons, Walter Kelly Jr. of Somerset, Kentucky and Richard (Cindy) Kelly of Alliance; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter E. Kelly who died August 26, 1982; son, Danny Kelly; daughter, Linda Jolly; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at Alliance Baptist Temple. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, November 19 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and 10 a.m. prior to the service at the church Monday. Interment will be at Sebring Grandview Cemetery.
