LeVerne H. Koerner

LeVerne H. Koerner, age 80, of Alliance, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019, after a ten year battle with Parkinson and Dementia at the Arbors of Streetsboro.

He was the son of Ernest and Cleo (Berlin) Koerner, born March 5, 1938 in Alliance.

LeVerne lived all his life in Alliance and had served in the United States Navy from 1956-1960.

He was employed as a long distance truck driver.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linda Koerner of Alliance; two sons, Terry (Elaine) Koerner and Jerry (Joyce) Koerner; a daughter, Debra Riesen; and five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Raymond.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the Arbors of Streetsboro, the Hospice nurses and the Veterans for all their help, love and kindness during LeVerne’s last days.
