Lillian Gifford
Lillian Gifford age 86 of Alliance, died at 8:15 a.m. May 19, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Mrs. Gifford was born October 19, 1917 in Alliance to Isaac and Rose (Saunier) Schmaeman and was a lifelong resident.
She attended Alliance High School and was a homemaker.
Survivors include; two daughters, Peggy (Herb) Caruso of Alliance, Linda (Richard) Miner of Rootstown, five grandchildren, Steve & Dave Caruso, Sally Trocchio, Sandy Kearley, Peggy Allen, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gifford was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael J. Gifford on Jan. 11, 1978, two sisters, Dorothy Garman, Loretta Davia, and one brother, Elwood Schmaeman.
A private family service will be held with Father Donald Feicht officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
