Linda Lou Bryant

d. June 28, 2012

Our supermodel Linda Lou Bryant, age 70, of Akron, formerly of Alliance, had her last gig at 8:40 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Hospice Care Center in Akron.
She was born January 31, 1942, in Alliance Ohio, to Delbert and Helen (Hardman) Bryant. She got married too young, tried it again, then moved cross country and acted like a crazy person.
She had an interesting life. She loved her children. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her children. She loved being a grammy. She loved her brother and sisters. She made mistakes. Sometimes really big ones. These were the ones she learned what forgiving oneself was all about. She was an artist. A very good one actually.
Linda's blue eyes and smile made it very easy for her to get away with things she shouldn't have. Her laugh was so infectious it made you want to make her laugh again.
Linda demanded little from her children, only wanting desperately for them to lead lives that would make them happy. They are trying.
She worked as a bartender and a model, loved being near any water anywhere, and lived in various places at various times. Her favorite was San Diego. Probably because that is where she had the most fun with the least consequences. She never cheated at cards.
Her adoring and loving fans are nationwide and include but are not limited to her children, known to her as her sunshine, and protector Jack Dean Moore Jr., her warrior Tracy Lynn Moore, and her baby, who will always be her baby no matter how much of a man he becomes, Louis Dominick "Chip" (Dyan) Tucci; her siblings, also too attractive for their own good, Richard Bryant, Janet Murphy, Elizabeth (Gary) Miller; grandchildren Logan Tucci, Emma Tucci, Monique Palmison, Brent Palmison, Farnsworth, Tonka and Chewy Moore. Other family and friends that circled her wagon and loved her crazy are Trudy Runyon, Cris Mohr, Scott Bryant, Denise Palmison, Anthony "Duck" Mallard, Rebecca Milora, Todd Dawson, Kathy Hebert, Dianne Hebert, Susan Craft, Michael and Nancy, Crystal Palm and Dr. Matthew Chung, who championed for her for over 20 years.
Dancing with her on the other side are her parents; her step father, Ralph Barber; children, Lorrie Lee Edmonson and James David Moore; and Monkey, Mortimer, and Bogart the cat. She really did love that dancing cat.
A picture viewing with family and friends will be from 3-4 p.m. and the memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday July 8th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Don't send flowers, just do something kind for someone else and give a shout out to Linda. She would have liked that a lot.
