Linda Carpenter

Linda Carpenter, age 78, of Alliance passed away at her home on February 22, 2021.

She was born on July 23, 1942 in Salem, Ohio to Richard Peppel and Emma (Murray) Peppel.

Linda was an avid reader and painter. She loved the Cleveland Indians and traveling, especially to Hawaii. Linda loved her family dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Julie (Dan) Connerth and Debbie (Kevin) Goshorn, both of Alliance; grandchildren, Stacie Hawkins of Alliance, Angela McGee of Texas, Alex Goshorn of Alliance; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Carrisalez of North Carolina and Ariel Hawkins of Alliance and Malachi McGee of Texas; and her sisters, Darlene Pawlak and Sheri Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin Carpenter who passed on April 1, 2018; and her sisters, Donna Oldfield and Judy Smith.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Highland Memorial Park Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ed Harnish officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Marlboro Christian Church food pantry, 9383 Edison St NE, Alliance, OH 44601.
