Linda L. Egli, age 57, of Homeworth, passed away at 4:03 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at her home.
She was born February 18, 1952 in Alliance, Ohio to Frank and Betty (Sylvester) Rosenberger and was a lifelong area resident.
A 1970 graduate of Marlington High School, Linda was Owner and Partner with her husband of the family dairy farm from 1972 - 1996; and was currently employed at Agland Co-Op.
Linda was a lifelong member of the Ohio Wagon Train and a member of the Columbiana County Dairy Boosters. Her other hobbies included her grandchildren, her horses, family gatherings, gardening, and cooking.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Egli of Homeworth, whom she married May 2, 1970, and with whom she would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in May; her sons, T.J. (Michelle) Egli of Homeworth, Chad (Elizabeth) Egli of North Olmsted, and Alex (Amanda) Egli of Homeworth; seven grandchildren, Emma, Thomas, Hannah, Riley, Madelyn, Julia, and Allen; her sisters, Merideth Carey of Drexel, N.C. and Sharon McCarty of Deluth, M.N.; and a brother, Larry (Pat) Rosenberger of Minerva.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers-in-law, Fred Carey and Rich McCarty.
A Memorial Service will be held at Noon Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Brendlinger of Damascus Friends Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - Noon Thursday.
