Linda McFerren, 54, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord, on June 30, 2007 at McCrea Manor after a dignified and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Anthony and Ethel (Johnson) Albert.
Linda has lived most of her life in the Alliance area from where she graduated high school. She was a billing specialist and medical receptionist for many Alliance area physicians. Linda will be best known for her tireless caring and concern for others and her love of life. She will be irreplaceable in the hearts of those whom knew her and loved her. She enjoyed gardening, shopping at Wal-Mart and Big Lots, trips to Mountaineer, any excuse for baking, and family get-togethers. She was very creative and had a real knack for making meaningful gift baskets for those whom she loved.
Linda was preceded in death by her father Anthony Albert, Sr. and her older brother Anthony Albert, Jr.
She is survived by her mother Ethel Albert, her husband, Randy McFerren, daughters; Ella Morris of Colorado, Stephanie Monroe of Ravenna, Ohio, and son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Andrea (nee: Meese) McFerren of Canton, Ohio. She also leaves behind two sisters, Jane (Wayne) Valentine of North Canton, Ohio, and Jackie (Bob) Kovachic of Atwater, Ohio; and two brothers, Joe (Marilyn) Albert of Belleville, Ohio, and Lou Albert of Alliance, Ohio and a sister-in-law Cassandra McFerren of Nevada. She also will be sadly missed by six grandchildren and one special grand-puppy; seven nieces and three nephews along with special friends, Shirley Albert and Chris Lombardi.
As per Linda's request, there will be no calling hours, rather a celebration of her life will be observed in lieu of a memorial service for she valued life and living for today. The family has invited everyone whom may want to share in this special celebration of Linda's life to please come by the family home on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 2 p.m. in honor of her living memory.
