Linda F. (Bowman) Mrus, age 68, of Ashland, KY, formerly of Alliance, passed away at 1 a.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013, at her home.
She was born September 13, 1945, in Alliance, to George and Fay (Renz) Bowman.
A graduate of Marlington High School, Linda also attended college and was employed as an engineer with Delphi.
Linda enjoyed crocheting.
Survivors include her husband, Walt Mrus of Warren; son, Tom Gibbons of Ashland, KY; granddaughters, Sarah Vannatter and Alyssa Mrus; sisters, Susan (Tim) Klemper of North Canton, Carol Evans of Alliance, and Janet Walters of Louisville; and brothers, George (Peg) Bowman, Jr. of Alliance, and John (Mary) Bowman of Alliance.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a step-son, Tim Mrus.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Dodson officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Beechwood Cemetery.
