Linda Sloan

Linda (Massey) Sloan, age 67, of Alliance, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Alliance Community Hospital, after a brief illness.
She was born May 1, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Henry and Dimmie (Howard) Massey.
Linda was an active member of Second Baptist Church and a member of the Gladys Merrell Temple No. 1049.
Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Kelly Bryant; sons, Robert Harriston and Mu'awiyah Muhammad; special niece and nephew, Georgia Forrest and Cordell Massey; special friend of 20 years, Steve Hardy; five grandchildren; brother, Edward Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Sloan; six sisters; and two brothers.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Willie Bell officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, at the church.
