Linda West

Linda L. West, age 60, of Minerva, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2006 at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 17, 1945 in Salem, Ohio to Claude and Lola Faye (Close) Saunders and was a lifelong area resident. Linda graduated from Salem High School and worked as a Seamstress. She was a member of the Minerva Eagles and former member of the Alliance Eagles. Survivors include her husband, Robert C. West, whom she married Oct. 25, 2005; one daughter, Tammie Delp of Salem, two grandchildren, Danielle and Derek Delp; one sister, Jessie Wayt of Alliance and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Hollis, William, and Gary Saunders; and Betty J. Metze and Thelma Lucas. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel at Highland Memorial Park with Pastor Phil McIntosh officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
