Linda O. Yoho, age 61, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord at 4:25 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2010 at her home.
She was born June 29, 1948, in New Martinsville, West Virginia to Charles and Orpha (Greathouse) Rickman.
Linda attended school in West Virginia and was employed by Coastal Pet in Alliance.
She was a member of the Alliance First Assembly Church of God and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her mother, Orpha Rickman of Alliance; daughter, Linda (Rev. Rex) Billiter of Alliance; sons, John (Susan) Yoho Jr. of Alliance, and David (Beth) Yoho of North Benton; daughter, Michelle (Jerry) Emplit of Alliance; grandchildren, Kimberley (Adam) Pugh, Rex Billiter Jr., Sarah and Nathaniel Billiter, Ashley, Jessica, and John Yoho, Elizabeth and Tyler Yoho, and Miranda, Michael, and Samantha Emplit; brother, Roger Rickman; two sisters, Carol "Sue" Yoho and Theresa Rickman, all of Alliance; and close friend, Jake Wagner, of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Yoho Sr. whom she married in 1965 and who went home to be with the Lord May 2, 2006; her father, Charles Rickman; and brothers, Carl "Pete" Rickman and Jerry Rickman
Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Billiter officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
