Lois A. Beck

Lois Arlene Beck, age 89, of Alliance, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, at Community Care Center.
She was born November 29, 1929, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Morris and Amanda (Brumbaugh) Weisel and had resided in the area since 1933.
Lois was a 1947 graduate of Alliance High School and had been a member of First Church of God in Alliance.
She had been employed as a bookkeeper for Attorney's Geiger Teeple Smith and Hahn in Alliance for more than 16 years, until her retirement in 1994.
Lois is survived by her husband of 69 years, Levi R. Beck, whom she married in 1949; three sons, Larry Beck of Beloit, and Leslie Beck and Lynn Beck, both of Alliance; two daughters, Linda Tucker of Alliance and Laura Brelin of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Baird-Atherton of Alliance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Weisel and sister, Miriam Shutt.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2018, at First Church of God with Pastor Dale Gruver officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alliance Hospice, 2461 West State St. Suite E, Alliance OH 44601.
