Lois R. Boyle, age 95, of Sebring and formerly of Marlboro, passed away at 9:17 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio.
She was born December 3, 1921, in Columbiana, Ohio to Willis R. and Emma J. Van Skiver Rupert
A 1964 graduate of Mount Union College with her B.S. in Education, Lois was a teacher at Marlboro Elementary and Marlington Middle School.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, D.A.R., and she volunteered at RSVP Adult Basic Education classes.
Survivors include her children, Ann Huston of Cuyahoga Falls, Wayne Boyle of San Diego, CA, Olyn Boyle of Valencia, CA, and Scott Boyle of Mentor; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and brother, Ralph Rupert of Columbiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olyn W. Boyle, whom she married May 21, 1942 and who died August 17, 2000; two sisters; and three brothers.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
