Lois M. Schott, age 82 of Alliance, died at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Canterbury Villa.
She was born March 27, 1924 in Alliance, Ohio to Kenneth and Helen (Huffman) Witherspoon and was raised by Emery and Ida Witherspoon.
Lois was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church.
She was employed as a school bus driver for the Stark County Workshop. She was a member of the Daughter of Union Veterans of the Civil War, (Ohio Department).
Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Montgomery of Alliance and Linda Bianco of California; a son, James Schott of Alliance; 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard N. Schott, whom she married December 5, 1941 and who died September 1, 1997; a son, Richard Schott; and one great grandchild.
A private service was held.
