Lois J. Sheehan Tasker

Lois J. (Christen) Sheehan Tasker, age 94, of Alliance, passed away at 9:55 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Bel-Air Care Center.
She was born August 29, 1924, in Alliance, Ohio, to Mervin H. and Florence (Cobbs) Christen.
A 1942 graduate of Alliance High School, Lois was employed at the former Taylorcraft of Alliance and also for 16 years with the former Jays Supermarket in Alliance.
She was a member of the Bethel United Church of Christ and Bethel Faithfull.
Survivors include her son, Dennis A. (Sue) Sheehan of Columbus; daughter, Karen L. Mobberley of Canton; two granddaughters; three stepdaughters, Barbara (Jim) Wuchter of Everett, Washington, Beverly Horstman of Florida and Marilyn (Don) Keener of Salem; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; brother, Robert (Marilyn) Christen of Minerva; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to Lois's parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilson Sheehan who died in 1968 and James Tasker who died in 1980; stepson, Arthur J. Tasker; and sister, Betty Ring.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2019, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Kahler officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
