Lois "Toni" Louis, age 77, of Alliance, passed away at 12:58 p.m. from an extended illness, Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Mercy Health-St Joseph's Warren Hospital, in Warren, Ohio.
She was born August 23, 1943 in Alliance, Ohio to Harry and Melba (Drew) Hayes.
Toni graduated from Alliance High School in 1961. She had a career as a Nurse Aid for more than 10 years. Countless staff, patients and friends would constantly and consistently praise her for the love and care she provided them. She also served as an Auxiliary Officer for the Alliance Police Department.
People all around the world benefited from the life of Toni Louis. While most could only speak about her voice from a conversation, not ever meeting her in person, they all were tremendously blessed and loved because of her. Those blessings may have come through her children and those who affectionately called her friend or Aunt Toni. She had the greatest quality of Jesus, LOVE. Toni, not only had the ability, but the capacity to love people right where they were. She was always, in all ways putting LOVE on display, even when those close to her couldn't understand it, she would continue to love even those the world considered unlovable and unworthy. She loved spending time with family and friends, talking on the phone, decorating, shopping, playing cards, listening to music, laughing, dancing, and being the life of any party she attended. She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a phenomenal friend, an extraordinary counselor, and an unbelievable gift from heaven to all that she encountered.
She will forever be in the hearts and minds of those who survived her to include her four children; Kevin (Kimberly) Louis, Tubbeè (Iris) Louis, Stephenie (Timothy) Prather and Colin (Sharifa) Louis; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; Siblings Sandra Patterson and Harry "Pap" (Demora) Hayes, Jr. and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
