Loma A. Monnot, age 88, of Alliance died at 5:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at her home.
She was born December 24, 1920 in Alliance to Wayne and Valentina (Oswalt) Seevers and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Mrs. Monnot was a graduate of Alliance High School and attended Mt. Union College. She was a bookkeeper for Sarchione's and was owner and operator of Loma's Accounting Service until her retirement in the mid 1980's.
She was a member of the Alliance Evangelical Friends Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles U. Monnot, whom she married October 17, 1973; her children, David Roudabush of Ashboro, North Carolina, Ronald Roudabush of Alliance, Jeanne Mae Vogt of Mesa, Arizona, Bob Roudabush and Paul Roudabush both of Alliance; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-daughters; two step-granddaughters; and a brother, Dale Seevers of Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jean Virzak, and Ferne Riffle Phillips; and a granddaughter, Allison Roudabush.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
