Louella M. Hawkins Greek of Brownstown, Indiana, died Thursday October 30, 2003. She was 101 years old.
She was born September 21, 1902 in Kensington, Ohio to Wilmer and Mary (Garragus) Hawkins.
Mrs. Greek was a member of the Brownstown United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters Dolores (Richard) Lapp of Salem, Oh, Joyce Davis of Huntsville, Ala., Sally Miller of Mission Viejo, Ca, and Nancy (Walter) McCormick of Brownstown, In., one son Robert (Marilyn) Greek of Temple City, Ca., 19 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Greek was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence E. Greek, six brothers, George, Merrill, Raymond, Robert, Lawrence, and John Hawkins, one sister Pearl Stevens, two sons Kenneth and William Greek, two daughters, Patricia Ferguson, and one infant, and one great granddaughter Ashley Burmingham.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. David Hostetler officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery in Hanoverton, Ohio.
