Mrs. Louise Annette McAlister, age 84, of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at her home.
She was born on April 12, 1940, in Paulding County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Jason Arron Pitts and Clara Queen Pitts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Carl Leslie McAlister; siblings, James Imanuel Pitts, Davey Lee Pitts, Carolyn Pitts Emerson, and Mary Magdalene Proctor.
Her greatest joy was her unwavering love for the Lord, nurtured daily through Bible devotions and inspired by the teachings of television evangelists who she really enjoyed. Louise also found peace and pride in her yard, spending countless hours tending to it with care and passion. She loved being outdoors, where her green thumb and dedication were reflected in the beauty that surrounded her home.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Wendy) McFry and Stephen (Ginger) Pitts; grandchildren, Matthew (Samantha) Pitts, Barbara Nicole McFry, and Samantha Michelle McFry; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lula Inez Pitts, Peggy Campbell, Sylvia Fatjo, and Janice Kelley; sister-in-law, Inez Pitts; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at Marlboro Cemetery on Saturday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m.
