Louise Whaley, age 84, of Alliance, Ohio, died at 6:33 a.m., February 23, 2007 at Community Care in Alliance.
She was born September 19, 1922 in
Portageville, Missouri to David and Alice Brown and has lived in Alliance since 1961.
Mrs. Whaley was a homemaker until her children were adults and she then worked at Alliance Rubber Co. She was a member of the Pentecostal Deliverance Tabernacle of Lisbon.
Louise is survived by three sons, Willard (Joy) Whaley of Beloit, Merlin (Cara) Whaley and Lee (Shirley) Whaley of Alliance, four daughters; Frances (Don) Lanham of Bergholtz, Mary Wood of Silver City, NM, Alice (Tom) Loudon of French Creek, WV and Patty (James) Roberts of Salem, two sisters; Vernie Dinwiddie of Pinos Altos, NM. and Lillian Fox of Alliance and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marion Whaley whom she married Feb. 25, 1937 and who died December 1, 2000 and a son Rickey Whaley who died August 19, 1977, seven brothers and three sisters.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Ping of the Alliance 1st Assembly of God officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
