Louise A. White, age 82, of Sebring, died at 1:00 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Salem Community Hospital.
She was born, January 21, 1926 in Alliance, Ohio to Kenneth and Marie (Smith) Powell.
Louise attended Canton Academy of Beauty College from 1944-1945. She was member of the protestant faith, Alliance Senior Citizens Center, Double Nello, Friday Senior Bowling League at the former Parkway Lanes and Alliance City Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She loved traveling and playing cards.
Louise is survived by her children Victoria M. (James) Dugan of Alliance, John K. (Sandra) White of N. Canton, Thomas L. (Kathleen) White of Fairlawn and Diana D. (Jerry) Cox of Louisville, ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two step- grandchildren; many step-great grandchildren; and sister, Ruth (Kenneth) Brunner of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Wade Hoover; great grandson, Jacob Dugan in 1998, and two brothers, Ralph and Jack Powell.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Chaplain David Parry officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
