Lucille (Sina) Zarrelli, age 94, of Alliance, died at 12:16 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2010, at Canterbury Villa.
Lucille was born March 13, 1916, in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Mary (Cin) Sina and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
She attended Alliance Schools and was employed at Alliance Manufacturing for more than 15 years. Lucille was also housekeeper and cook for the Regina Coeli Church Rectory for many years.
A member of the Regina Coeli Catholic Church, Lucille was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Catholic Women's Club. She was a former member of the Christopher Columbus Ladies.
Survivors include her daughters, Gail (Fred) Stauffenger and Nanette (Bill) Brush, both of Alliance; six grandchildren, Leonard, Steven (Michele), and Eric (Mary) Stauffenger, Lori (Mike) Gleich, Larry (Tracie) Brush and Louie Brush; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard G. Zarrelli, whom she married October 26, 1935 and who died February 27, 1998; sisters, Margaret Reese, Martha Sina, Edith Mastroianni, Ann Pipro and brother, John Sina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Regina Coeli Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Dyer officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
