Lyle E. McKendree, age 70, of Alliance, passed away at 4:38 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1947 in Hamlin, West Virginia to Benjamin and Eloise (Stowers) McKendree.
Lyle was a retired steel worker after working at Alliance Castings.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Bryant) McKendree, whom he married March 28, 1970; daughter, Jennifer McKendree of Warren; son, Timothy McKendree of Alliance; grandsons, Dylan McKendree and James Howell; and sister, Sue Childress of Mann, West Virginia.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lou.
Private family services are being held.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
