Lynn ((Daniels)) Dezenzo

Lynn Dezenzo, age 76, of Alliance, passed away at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.

She was born January 4, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Marvin “Jack” and Wilma Mae (Dutchon) Daniels.

Lynn was a 1961 graduate of Alliance High School and a 1965 graduate of Mount Union College Summa Cum Laude in Education. She taught Elementary Education, Severe Behavioral Handicap Students and Special Education in the Alliance School System until her retirement.

She was a former member of OEA, NEA and the Alliance Country Club.

Lynn loved to decorate her home, tending her garden, and especially the time spent with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Ron Dezenzo whom she married April 23, 1965; sons, Steve (Rachel) Dezenzo of Alliance and Mike Dezenzo of Charlotte, North Carolina; two grandsons, Zach and Josh; two brothers, Kim Daniels of Randolph, New York and Dr. Rhys (Bernarda) Daniels of Arlington, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Lynn’s request there will be a private family service Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle Christian Funeral Home with Nancy Castellucci celebrant. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
