M. Pauline Tootikian, age 97, of Sebring, formerly of East Canton, died at 8:47 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born in East Canton, Ohio on Feb. 21, 1912 to Almon Theodore and Ella Vern (Robertson) Foltz.
Mrs. Tootikian was a graduate of Malvern High School and later pursued a career in nursing. She was a private duty nurse in the Cleveland Area, retiring when she was 78 years of age. She was a member of the first Immanuel United Church of Christ and was active in the Caring Friends organization at Copeland Oaks, enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul Tootikian, who died January 29, 1989; a brother, William Donald Foltz, and an infant brother.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Neal Mann officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern.
