Mabel Anne Hill, age 91, of Alliance, died at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born May 5, 1919 in Alliance, Ohio to Don C. Engle and Gladys (Savage) Engle Williams and was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Hill attended Alliance High School and retired from Star Bronze after 18 years of service.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 2174 and attended the Alliance Christian Center.
Mrs. Hill enjoyed taking water aerobics at the Alliance YMCA.
Survivors include her children Sally A. Arbaugh of Alliance, Sandra Sue (Ken) Russell of Alliance, Wendy J (the late John) Lombardi of Canton, Robin E. (Steve) McIntyre of Minerva; Bruce A. (Sally Hamlin Jr.) Hill Sr., Dennis L. (Cindy) Hill, Walter E. (Debbie) Hill Jr. and Michael L. (Susan) Hill, all of Alliance; daughter-in-law, Olice Hill of Alliance; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter E. Hill Sr., whom she married Nov. 25, 1936 and who died Aug. 25, 1965, one son, Don F. Hill, and one great-grandson, Michael Craig Hill.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance Ohio.
