Madalyn M. Ruth, age 82 of Alliance, passed away at her home at 10:42 a.m. June 20, 2010.
She was born October 15, 1927 in Alliance, Ohio to Leon and Mae Marshall.
Mrs. Ruth graduated from Alliance High School and was a Real Estate Agent with Hume for Homes for more than twenty years.
An avid golfer at the Alliance Country Club, Madalyn and her late husband Dick won a Husband and Wife Tournament there. She also enjoyed bowling, and belonged to a Mixed Couple's League at the Elks.
Survivors include her three daughters, Janet Akins of SC Kathy Crestani of Alliance and Barb Ruth of Alliance; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Madalyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W. Richard Ruth, whom she married June 29, 1947, and who died Nov. 27, 2000.
Private family services will be held; with interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
