Mae Anderson, age 70 of Alliance, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday April 22, 2005 at the Arbors of Canton. She was born February 3, 1935 in Alliance, Ohio to Frederick and Minnie (Ranft) Moore and lived in Alliance since 1970.
Mrs. Anderson attended Alliance Public Schools and retired after working as a Nurses Aid and doing home care. She was a former member of Vine Street United Methodist Church. She was a member of the FOE Aeries # 2174, and enjoyed cooking, camping, bowling, playing poker, gardening and helping others.
Survivors include one daughter, Cathy Nemitz of Alliance, three sons, Richard Nemitz, Robert (Liz) Notman, and William Notman, all of Alliance; four step-children, Donald Anderson Jr. of Malvern, Clinton Anderson of Seattle, Washington, Sherry Gang of Deerfield, and Lorie (Elijah) Blake of Beloit; 20 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Clarence Moore and Fred Earl Moore, both of Alliance, and one sister, Ruth (Del) Ratliff of Louisville.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald L. Anderson, whom she married May 7, 1983, and who died March 9, 2005, one son, Duane Nemitz and three sisters, Elaine Lorden, Jane Dowdy and Bernadine Yoder.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Delania Kaiser officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
