Marcia Lewis

Marcia A. Lewis age 74, of Alliance, died at 3:40 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2009 at Alliance Community Care Center. She was born in Alliance, May 15, 1934 to Louis and Bernice (Faulkner) Furgiuele. A 1952 graduate of Alliance High School, Marcia retired from the Hoover Company after 17 years of service. She was a member of the Dante Club, the VFW Post 1036 and she enjoyed playing cards with her children and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon (Chuck) Dunlap of Alliance and Connie (Joseph) Underwood of Jackson Township; one son, Frank (Renee) Stancato of Louisville; two brothers, Joseph (Anna Mae) Furgiuele of Alliance and Frank Furgiuele of Louisville; many nieces; nephews; an aunt, Ersey Vizzuso; and cousins, who loved her dearly. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carol J. Partin; and one brother, Louis F "Sonny" Furgiuele. A private memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Fr. Don Feicht officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
