Margaret Gimbara

Margaret Gimbara, age 86, of Alliance, died at 8:55 p.m. January 4, 2005 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Mrs. Gimbara was born in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania on July 28, 1918 to Logan Higginbotham and Maude (Dowell) Higginbotham-Gaul, and lived in Alliance since 1945.
She was a graduate of Rostraver High School in Pricedale, Pennsylvania and was a career homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Joseph A. "Bud" Gimbara of Alliance, one daughter Patricia Lynne Lee of Homeworth, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father James A. Gaul (who raised her from an early age), her husband Joseph Gimbara, whom she married May 17, 1938 and who died Aug. 16, 1990, one daughter Peggy Gimbara, one son James R. "Bob" Gimbara, two half-brothers James A. Gaul II and John Gaul and one half-sister Jean Cline.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. David Hostetler officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
