Margaret Ann "Nan" Gwin

Margaret Ann "Nan" Gwin, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.
Born April 30, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Leona and George Gwin Sr.
A lifelong resident of Alliance, she graduated from Alliance High School in 1946.
Nan was a legal secretary for the law firm of Gwin, Moushey and Tangi and later Moushey, Tangi, Gwin and Giua. She went on to serve as legal secretary for her brother, the late Judge John F. Gwin and Judge Michael Tangi at the Alliance Municipal Court and retired in 1992.
She was a devout and active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Alliance.
Nan, along with her sister, brother and brother-in-law, enjoyed vacationing at the Outer Banks for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John, Joseph and George; sister, Betty Diebel; and nephew, Tommy Diebel.
She is survived by her twin sister and her brother-in-law, Nell and Joseph Falcone of North Canton; special cousin, Anna Mae "Babe" Welsh of Alliance; nieces, Mary Kay (Howard) Snyder, Susan (Gerard) Vancavage, Kathy (Tom) White and Mary Jo (Ted) Wiese; nephews, Judge Scott (Monica) Gwin, Judge James (Bonnie) Gwin, George Gwin Jr., and Keith (Terri) Diebel; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at St Joseph's Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Joseph's Catholic Church 427 E. Broadway, Alliance, OH 44601.
