Margaret Ann (Hunter) Reisch, age 85, of Sebring, formerly of Alliance, died at 4:35 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born November 28, 1926, in Alliance, to Atty. Francis E. and Edith (Kayler) Hunter.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Canton Actual Business College and Mount Union College, Mrs. Reisch was formerly employed as a teacher in Alliance Public schools, and as a secretary at Babcock and Wilcox Research Center.
Margaret was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Crusaders Sunday school class. She had served as President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Global Missions Coordinator in United Methodist Women, and President of the Crusaders Class.
She taught Sunday school, served as Children's Coordinator, Counselor of Jr. High U.M.Y.F., member of Congregational Care Committee, delivered Meals on Wheels and was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts.
Survivors include her sons, James T. Reisch of Alliance and Steven A. Reisch of Hartville; and brother, William A. Hunter of Euclid.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Seward N. Reisch, whom she married November 4, 1956 and who died December 17, 2006; and brothers, Frederick Hunter, Atty. Robert R. Hunter and Dr. F. Edmund Hunter.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Karl Stonebraker officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
