Margaret E. Sanders, age 89, of Alliance, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born November 19, 1921, in Alliance, to William G. and Elizabeth (Pritchard) Williams.
Margaret was an active member of the Vine Street United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include nieces, Jacqueline (James) Franklin of Garden City, Michigan, Edith Wojtas of Hiram, Oh., and Jean Hutchinson of Seminole, Fla.; nephews, Roland (Pat) Sanders, Jr. of SC, George (Pat) Virgil of Homeworth, James (Robin) Seele of Mogodore, Michael (Yoli) McGee of Sand Spring, OK and Terry (Cindy) McGee of Springhill Fla.; numerous great, great-great and great-great-great nephews and nieces; and dear longtime friends, Tibi and Cheryl Marian and Raymond and Connie Leek.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Francis Lee Sanders, two sons, Robert D. "Bobby" Sanders, and William L. "Billy" Sanders, and two brothers, David Williams and Robert "Bob" Williams.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2011, at Vine St. United Methodist Church, 1544 W. Vine St., Alliance. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
