Marguerite “Peggy” Schneider, loving mother, wife and cook, passed away peacefully on December 16th, 2022 at the Aultman Community Care Center in Alliance, Ohio, her hometown.
She was born on November 24, 1948 to parents, Orva and Florence Glass.
She grew up alongside her sister, Kathy Bricker, whom she was close to. From a young age, Peggy showed her innate ability to be a jack of all trades, mastering cooking and playing the oboe and saxophone in the Alliance High School band. She worked as a medical and technical secretary, but mostly was devoted to her family. Alongside husband, David Schneider, Peggy raised two children, Amy Kaczynski and Ryan Schneider. Her utmost love and dedication to her family was one of her most remarkable traits. She claimed an intrinsic part within her family through her cooking. Peggy’s cooking, both comfort and gourmet was her most popular quality. Peggy’s family felt her love palpably through her cooking; weekly meals and holiday feasts became a tasty celebration for the whole family. Exceptionally, Peggy also brought many friends together throughout the years through her cooking and baking, becoming a household name in the mouths she fed.
Peggy’s grandchildren were also a prominent part of her identity. Max and Heidi Kaczynski (children of Amy and Frank Kaczynski) and David “Skippy” Schneider (son of Ryan and Anna Lisa Schneider) were sources of pure joy for Peggy. She enjoyed all things fashion and beauty with her “princess Heidi” and became a sports fanatic for Max and Skippy. Until her last breath she was the three’s biggest fan, proud of all of them. Peggy’s legacy of love will remain a tradition for all that had the blessing of knowing her.
There will be a private celebration of life held for Peggy, but no further public commemorations.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home 75 South Union Ave Alliance, Ohio 44601.
