Maria “Rosie” (Garcia) Dalesandro

Maria R. Dalesandro, age 84, of Alliance, passed away on September 3, 2022.

Rosie was born on August 11, 1938 in Santa Rosa, Texas to Fidencio and Rafaela (Garza) Garcia.

She was a member of Grant Street Seventh-day Adventist Church and a former member of the Nami Group at First Christian Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Alfredo Flores, Robert Flores and Frank Dalesandro; grandson, Eric Flores; granddaughter, Jessica Flores, two great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jose A. (Eva) Garcia, Frank (Susan) Garcia; and sisters, Amelia Natale, Mary L. (Tommy Monday) McCowan and Ida (Kurt) Dahlberg.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel R. Dalesandro, whom she married September 10, 1977 and who passed in 2014; her stepfather, Eugenio Garza; her sons, Daniel Flores, Eugene K. Flores and Joseph Dalesandro; her previous husband Alfredo Flores; her brothers, Lupe Garcia and Carl Garza; a brother-in-law, Bruno Natale; and a nephew Kenneth Michael Dillon.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday September 8, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Courtney officiating, friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
